How to run Android TV app on Tablet / Smartphone with Android L / Kitkat

Hello,

After my research of android TV demo, I found some tips how to install app and test it without TV.I found some names "Leanback Launcher" This is name of launcher in Android TV. I found also guide how to install Emulator in Android Studio and Android SDK but it take a lot of time to install all. So this is little guide how to quick take a look on android TV without TV device.

We need 3 Things

1. Quick Shortcut Maker App
2. Leanback_mouse.apk i found it here (MediaFire but works)

3. And Google Play Music App
4. [UPDATE] my .apk file from Android Studio Example with compatible SDK version 17 - Tested on MINIX with Kitkat 4.4.2 download here , You need to use "Shortcut Maker" to create shortcut icon for this app.

Ok step one:

Install Shortcut Maker, Leanback_mouse.apk and Google Play Music (If you don't have)

Step Two:

Create shortcut on your home screen using this video

Step three

Use "Normal Android Lanucher" and Run "Movie Play" from Shortcut.

And now you can have Goople Play Leanback interface on your smartphone or tablet.
Tested on Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 Tablet

How it works? I found this two steps but separated they dont work, i needed to install lanucher and then Google Play Music works in Leanback mode using shortcut. There is a lot of crashes but for education purpses you can feel how Android TV interface works.
